Empower to Employ: New Ground, New Growth

On April 28, we had the pleasure of hosting an inspiring session with Yuri Primush, entrepreneur, investor, and coach. As part of the Empower to Employ program, Yuri shared his personal and professional story: how he built companies, led teams, and eventually, how he started over again — in a new country, with new circumstances.
His journey is one of adaptation and resilience. During the session, we spoke about how to navigate uncertainty, how to find meaning when familiar paths disappear, and how growth often begins when comfort ends. Participants were deeply engaged, asking questions, sharing experiences, and reflecting on their own transitions.
Yuri emphasized that change is not only about survival — it can become an invitation to reimagine who we are and what we offer the world. Whether you’re restarting your career, changing industries, or simply learning a new language — every step you take matters. “Don’t wait for permission to grow,” he said. “Sometimes, the boldest thing you can do is begin again.”
He also shared practical advice: how to set priorities, build confidence, and stay grounded when plans fall apart. His openness about challenges made the conversation real — and all the more powerful.
We’re truly grateful to Yuri Primush for his time, presence, and generosity in sharing his experience with our group.
Empower to Employ is an initiative by the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), supported by the Fonds social européen plus (FSE+) and the Ministère du Travail Luxembourg. It helps Ukrainians under temporary protection in Luxembourg integrate into the job market.
The session was more than a story — it was a reminder that uncertainty does not erase value. Many participants said they recognized parts of their own journey in Yuri’s words. Hearing someone who had faced setbacks and still rebuilt successfully offered not only motivation, but a sense of connection. The discussion also helped reframe challenges as stepping stones, rather than obstacles. Yuri’s perspective encouraged everyone to rethink how they define success, reminding us that every restart is also a return to strength. Even a small step forward can lead to long-term progress. Everyone left with tools, hope, and new ideas.
This session reminded us that change can be a source of power. Sharing experiences in a safe space helped participants feel seen, supported, and encouraged to take their next steps with more clarity and strength.
These moments of reflection, support, and shared experience are essential for building resilience. We look forward to more conversations like this in our Empower to Employ journey together.
