Educational Opportunities in Luxembourg

On June 10, the “Empower to Employ” project welcomed its participants and partners to a special event dedicated to learning as a pathway to employment: Educational Opportunities in Luxembourg. This interactive and inspiring session brought together professionals, students, and career changers interested in education, reskilling, and lifelong learning.
The event featured expert speakers from Luxembourg’s academic and vocational training ecosystem, each sharing their own insights and practical advice. The audience had a chance to explore both formal academic pathways and flexible adult learning opportunities, designed to support professional reintegration and long-term career growth.
Speakers included:
Marina Leches-Pohrebynska, who discussed how pursuing an MBA supported her international career development and shared hands-on tips about choosing a business school and applying for scholarships.
Bhanu Mishra from UBI Business School introduced their international academic programs and explained how global business education can empower future professionals.
Olena Neskorodiana, currently an MBA student at the Luxembourg School of Business, offered a personal reflection on studying in Luxembourg, financing education, and building a local network.
Yevgeniya Inozemtseva (University of Luxembourg) provided a clear overview of adult education and upskilling opportunities in the country, including digital learning and pathways for those without formal diplomas.
Natalia Sharanda shared her journey of learning through Maison de l’Orientation and the apprenticeship system — a powerful example of integration through practice.
Anne Oswald, from lifelong-learning.lu, explained how to navigate Luxembourg’s adult education system, search for courses, and access funding.
The atmosphere was one of inspiration, curiosity, and solidarity. Many participants shared that they left with renewed motivation to learn, requalify, or finally begin the studies they had long postponed.
This event was part of the Empower to Employ initiative by the Luxembourg–Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), supported by FSE+ and the Ministère du Travail du Luxembourg.
