Yannick is currently heading the Sustainable Finance Unit in GIZ Ukraine’s Energy and Climate Cluster. Previously he led the Sustainable Finance programme of the Emerging Market Sustainability Dialogues (EMSD), advised the German Ministry of Finance in preparing the inaugural sovereign green bond issuance, led a public-private partnership on Green Bond Market development and worked on combatting illicit financial flows. Prior to GIZ, Yannick worked at Citigroup’s Fixed Income Capital Markets division (DCM). His focus at Citi was on financial institutions and public sector bond issuers. Furthermore, Yannick was responsible for the private placement business, covering FIs and SSA clients, in Germany and Austria. He holds a Master/Diploma in Economics and Politics (Univ. Cologne).
