Career:
From 07.2004 to 08.2006, he was a cadet at the Odesa Institute of the Land Forces. From 08.2006 to 11.2008, he was a cadet of the Lviv Order of the Red Star at the Hetman P. Sahaidachnyi Institute of the Army of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. From 11.2008 to 12.2017, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 08.20014 to 06.2017, the commander of the 3rd separate air assault battalion of the 95th separate air assault brigade State awards, honorary titles: Hero of Ukraine. He was awarded the Order of the Golden Star. On April 22, 2020, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. On February 9, 2024, the Government temporarily entrusted Oleksandr Porkhun with the duties of the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
