On October 1, 2024, Andrew took up the position as Director General of EIB Global, EIB’s investment and advisory activities outside of the European Union. Reporting to the President of EIB Nadia Calvino, Andrew manages a team of professionals in Luxembourg and across numerous offices around the world to support climate and other projects aligned with EU policy objectives in partner countries. Prior to rejoining the EIB, Andrew was a partner in Strategy&, PwC's global strategy consulting business (2020-24) and has previously served as Vice President of the EIB (2016-20) and Economic Adviser and Programme Manager to the Prime Minister of Ireland (2011-16). An economist by training, Andrew has 25 years of experience working with national and international institutions in economic and financial policy-making.
