Legal Status
The Luxembourg–Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (LUCC) is an independent non-profit association (association sans but lucratif – A.s.b.l.) established under Luxembourg law.
The Chamber operates on the basis of its statutes and in accordance with the Law of 21 April 1928 on non-profit associations, as amended.
LUCC has an unlimited duration and is headquartered in Luxembourg.
Purpose
LUCC was established to promote and facilitate the development of commercial, economic and cross-sector relations between Luxembourg and Ukraine.
Its mandate encompasses economic cooperation as well as related areas including professional exchange, innovation, cultural interaction and sector-based initiatives that contribute to bilateral engagement.
The Chamber may also develop cooperation with institutions and organisations active in Luxembourg and Ukraine, where such cooperation supports its statutory objectives.
Scope of Activities
Within its mandate, LUCC may:
Facilitate trade and business cooperation
Support professional networking and market engagement
Organise business forums, delegations and sector-focused initiatives
Promote dialogue between private sector actors and institutional stakeholders
Provide information and practical guidance relevant to bilateral cooperation
All activities are carried out in alignment with the Chamber’s statutory objectives and in the interest of strengthening sustainable Luxembourg–Ukraine relations.
Governance
LUCC is governed by its General Assembly and an elected Committee in accordance with its statutes.
The Committee is responsible for the administration and strategic direction of the Chamber, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and transparency in its operations.
