The Luxembourg–Ukraine Chamber of Commerce asbl. is thrilled to contribute to the INTERNATIONAL FORUM «BRIDGES OF SOLIDARITY» organized by our esteemed partners, Ukrainescht Haus and the Commune de Strassen.
This forum brings together representatives of public and private sector, leaders of civil society, and academic representatives to discuss and address the ongoing support for Ukraine and its people. The team from the Integration Department of the Municipality of Strassen has faced numerous challenges over more than two years of successfully implementing social and humanitarian projects to support Ukrainians. Their relentless efforts have significantly contributed to the well-being and integration of Ukrainians in Luxembourg.
The forum aims to continue this vital support by sharing information, combining the efforts of public and private sector, and fostering community committed to aiding Ukraine. Through collaboration and solidarity, we strive to amplify our collective impact and ensure that support for Ukraine remains strong and effective.
The purpose of the Forum
- to highlight the importance of Luxembourg’s social and humanitarian projects aimed at supporting Ukrainians and Ukraine.
- identify priority areas of projects and discuss possible ways of their implementation.
Objectives of the forum
- to hold panel discussions on the reconstruction of Ukraine, humanitarian response, continuing the strategic direction of work to overcome the humanitarian consequences of the war and the implementation of international humanitarian law at the national level
- to establish links between municipalities, NGOs, educational institutions, philanthropists and institutions of Luxembourg and Ukraine for cooperation in the social and humanitarian spheres
- to create favorable conditions for cooperation between the forum participants in order to increase the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation
