Businesses stands with Ukraine
DATE & TIME:
09.06.2022 18:00 - 21:00
The Ukraine-Luxembourg Business Club is hosting a charity fundraiser dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The event will feature a silent art auction, live performances, and a networking dinner, bringing together corporate leaders, government representatives, media, sponsors, and partners.
According to the Ukraine-Luxembourg Business Club, “The goal of the charity dinner is to raise essential funds for SME businesses and startups in Ukraine that have been severely impacted by the war. All proceeds from entry tickets, sponsorship packages and private donations will be directed to the Ukrainian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (UVCA), which provides critical support to Ukraine’s startup community operating in distressing conditions. These innovative businesses require immediate assistance to remain active and continue their work in Ukraine.”
The programme includes a strong artistic component featuring renowned Ukrainian and Luxembourgish artists. Ukrainian artist Oxana Berezhna will present her collection of musical art exploring diverse music styles and their translation into emotions and movement. Ukrainian sculptor Michael Levchenko will showcase a selection of his sculptures.
Two Luxembourg-based artists will also participate: Ott Neuens, displaying his signature lapis lazuli and gold paintings, and Elisabeth Calmes, presenting new works inspired by Ukrainian resilience and bravery.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and acquire their works during the silent auction.
The evening will further include performances by:
• Nataliia Semeniuta and Tetiana Liubymenko, vocalists from the Taras Shevchenko National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine;
• Alina Kostiuk, finalist of The Voice of Ukraine – Children.
All three performers have recently found refuge in Luxembourg.
To conclude the programme, internationally awarded Latin dance champions Renat and Inna Korobka will present a performance symbolising the passion and courage of the Ukrainian struggle.
The event will be presented by Lisa Burke.
