On October 24, 2022, the Luxembourg Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), in collaboration with the European Investment Bank (EIB), hosted a significant social charity event aimed at supporting the most vulnerable categories of Ukrainian refugees in Luxembourg. This event was dedicated to providing crucial support to those who have been forced to stay abroad due to the ongoing conflict.
The primary goal of this meeting was to offer practical advice and assistance for the swift integration of Ukrainian refugees into professional activities in Luxembourg. Key activities and highlights of the event included:
● CV Clinic: EIB specialists conducted a comprehensive CV clinic, offering personalized advice and guidance to job seekers. This initiative aimed to empower refugees with the necessary tools and confidence to enter the job market successfully.
● Professional Advice: Experts from the European Ukrainian Investment Bank shared invaluable insights and practical tips to help participants navigate the professional landscape in Luxembourg.
● Winter Clothing Distribution: Recognizing the immediate needs of the refugees, the European Ukrainian Investment Bank provided essential winter clothing, ensuring that the refugees are well-prepared for the colder months.
These events underscore the commitment of LUCC, EIB, and ArcelorMittal to support Ukrainian refugees during these challenging times. By offering both professional guidance and essential supplies, these initiatives aim to ease the transition and integration process for refugees in Luxembourg.
We are deeply grateful to the European Investment Bank and ArcelorMittal for their collaboration and generous support. Their contributions have been instrumental in making these events a success and providing much-needed assistance to the Ukrainian community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
