Bernard Elslander is a Principal Associate at Eversheds Sutherland Luxembourg specialising in alternative investment funds, with over 12 years of experience structuring fund vehicles (RAIFs, SIFs, SICARs, SCSps) for institutional investors and a track record exceeding $2 billion in fund structures. He advises fund sponsors, institutional investors and development finance institutions across private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate strategies. He has developed a particular focus on the structuring of Luxembourg fund vehicles for defence and dual-use investments, including the regulatory and governance specificities of the sector. He recently co-presented on this topic at the LPCC Luxembourg – Poland Conference 2026 and is an active participant in the European defence investment ecosystem. Bernard is a member of the LPEA Private Funds Legal Committee and of the Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
